I also was upset about the lack of a wireless controller, and my trunk ceased closing just after a year. Disgusted.

I found mechanical problems in this camcorder.
the trunk didnt close.
Do not make a mistake. pay a little bit more
and get a Sony. I am really frustated with this

We bought this camcorder 3 months ago. It works very well..except the batteries are not last long enought for a whole day. Overall , it's a good buy!
